"A real man is someone who is devoted to a cause that is bigger than himself and who leaves the world a better place for those who follow'
Something I have learned over the years, albeit slowly, is that most men are not passive. They wanna do stuff. They wanna meet shoulder to shoulder and make the world, or their community, a better place. I suspect that is one reason why men tend to find religious services fairly unattractive. They want and need, a practical, tactile challenge.
With that in mind, we hope to begin (one Sunday morning per month) an informal gathering of men at the Bookworm building in Phoenixville. We'll begin with light refreshments followed by a brief reflection before engaging in community service of one kind or another. It has been dubbed 'Men2Serve' and we are pretty excited about it.
Please stay tuned as we will pass along more information as things draw nearer....and clearer.
All the best,
